blame a black guy. That's what I do. Well, except now I'm shaking my head, annoyed with myself that I kept running in shoes that were no longer supporting me. I ran on Tuesday (in my other shoes) and had no discomfort. I ran twice on Friday with the 'bad' shoes and felt no pain Saturday. Decided to run some more in the same shoes today and I fear I've invited my next bout of foot crippling pain. I've been using a golf ball to rub it out for a couple hours, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna lock up overnight anyhow. Maybe should bang the golfball against my head a few times instead...
May have to take another couple days off...but at least I think I can safely say that voodoo may have been a farce. I threw away the shoes just to ensure I didn't impulsively CONTINUE to run in them. But I'm gonna be kinder to random black wino's just in case it wasn't the shoes. Just to be safe. (looking over shoulder)
Aside from that, it's been absolutely miserable weather around these parts. Cold, windy, snow, sleet. Just plain awful. So I've kept up training but nestled indoors until it reaches 50 again outside. I am quick to defend Washington's weather detractors, but lately I'd agree with 'em. Bring on the spring. Enough of the frigid weekends.
Leroy has been a splendid little fella the past couple weeks. I'm gonna get some artwork done of him by a local artist who specialized in acrylic work. Looking forward to that. I'm moving again in less than a month...so lots of logistical planning going along with that. Aside from that, life is good. Easy. Mellow. Getting psyched for Espana in early March and then hopefully another trip late summer w/ Pops and Dylan. Climbing Machu Pichu perhaps....we'll see

IF YOU WERE FASTER YOUR FEET WOUILDNT TOUCH THE GROUND AND YOUD HAVE NO PAIN. THINK ABOUT IT. RUN FASTER AND TRY PICKING UP YOUR FEET ONCE IN A WHILE.
ART WORK ON YOUR DOG/ YOU MUST HAVE A LOT OF DISCRETIONARY $. SPEND SOME ON YOUR WHINO FRIEND TO MAKE AMENDS.
Oh do be kind to your feet. Foot pain is about the worst kind of pain to live with chronically. Good shoes can make all the difference. Good luck with your move-another big stressor in life. But hope your new place is worth it.
Lee-Roi gonna get a tattoo?
Shouldn't you have "art work"' done on someone with whom you've had a looooooooonger relationship?
Get serious.
